LIFELIKE: Day 347


Hello! Let's talk about LIFELIKE.

First things first… LIFELIKE is on Steam! As usual, I will do my best to get keys for folks who have purchased the game here on itch (which I greatly appreciate!). Wishlisting the game will still be super helpful to me. Please check out the Steam page, and consider clicking that button! 

More updates from the last two weeks include: 

  • Flavor text implementation. I’m about 70% done with this! It’s pretty mundane work. Lots of copy pasting and testing. 
  • Music updates! I’ve gotten some more Track 2 music back from one of my composers and it is GOOD. I know I say this a lot, but wow, is this track going to sound awesome. 
  • Random polish. Some systems (mostly party handling) have needed a bit more work to keep the game looking and acting the way it should. 

The next two weeks look very similar to what I've been doing recently:

  • I plan on finishing flavor text implementation by sometime this week, which will allow me to focus on cutscenes. 
  • A heavier focus on art, including cutscene implementation, overworld updates, and NPCs. 
  • Polish!
