LIFELIKE - Home Stretch!

I am very happy to announce that all cutscenes are in-engine, and I have begun final polishing! This is a seriously cutscene dense track, I wouldn’t be surprised if the average player spends about fifteen minutes in them, there is a lot of exciting story too see!

Private playtesting will roll out in the next few weeks, and from there, launch. Thank you all for your patience on this track. I can’t wait for you all to play it!

Hey Eben!! I would love that too. I'm still working on it and I am very not proud about how long it's taken! 

Shortly after this post, I had an extremely generous person offer to translate LIFELIKE into Italian, and later, an extremely generous friend offered to translate it into Latam Spanish. I took them both up and have been working hard refactoring LIFELIKE to acommodate multiple languages since. (Alongside adding a lot of QOL that people have been asking for, including native controller support.) I haven't shared too much because it's embarrassing how long it's taken me and there's not much interesting to share when I'm just rewriting code. 

It really means a lot to me that you're still thinking about LIFELIKE! It is very much alive and I will be in touch when Track 2 is out!!

Woo, I'm all for cutscenes! Can't wait to try out whatever new attacks I might end up seeing too!

Thank you! Track 2 introduces aggro status effects and management in combat, it's made for some interesting party dynamics in boss fights
