LIFELIKE: Day 9


Hello! As promised, here is a weekly progress check.

If you're here reading this, thank you! I'm not sure who all is keeping tabs on my devlogs but I hope it's exciting/useful/etc for those interested in the game.

Let's get into what's been going on:

  • LIFELIKE will be on stream this week on MONDAY (5/10  - 7:30 PST - UnRehearsed Gaming) and WEDNESDAY (5/12 - TBA - razzdrgn
  • A few new builds have been pushed since we last spoke. Expect the occasional update here and there if I come across an issue. I won't email people directly about them, though itch may email you automatically. If anyone has a preference for these kinds of notifications I'd love to know! Right now the Overture is slated for a new build to patch combat and add in save and quit menu functionality.
    • If you'd like to update your game, check this devlog for how to do so. 
  • Polish is in full swing. The dialogue system is getting some much needed love and is already shaping up to be far more efficient than before. I'm very excited to work with it! 
  • Mac users have no fear, I am currently waiting on a payout to be approved and will have the app quarantine fixed as soon as possible! More updates as this happens, just know that things are moving on that end. 
  • The Important Trailer from last week's devlog is finished! I can't wait for you to see it! This one should be live in about a month... Keep an eye on the LIFELIKE Twitter for future information on that. 
  • Merch is incoming! Get ready for the shop to open on Monday! Remember those awesome designs made by @SGibdo on Twitter? Those amazing illustrations, along with a few other designs will be available as stickers! Again, follow the LIFELIKE Twitter for updates and a shop link once it's live!
