LIFELIKE: Day 23


Let’s get into this week’s updates!

  • Mac builds are on the way! I’ve bought the Apple Developer Program and am working to get a build sent off for review so it can be properly signed. Signing apps has been a process. I expect to have a live build without quarantine sometime the week of May 31st. 
  • A reminder that: MERCH IS HERE! Buy some cool stickers and help support development! @SGibdo on Twitter made the illustrations that you are able to buy and I'm very proud of how they turned out! (There are even toaster stickers! Everyone loves toasters.)
  • Dialogue is going very well. The script for Track 1 is nearly ready to be reimplemented in engine. I’ve also added some neat automation and improvements to how its put together that will make my future work quick (I know I’ve said this before but it’s huge for me.) As mentioned last time, portrait animation is complete, character animation is nearly there (I expect to automate a bit of that as well), and I’m going to wait on adding other features to focus more on getting Track 2 ready. Eyes on the prize. 
  • (And don’t forget! A certain event is coming up…)

There will not be an update next weekend, I’m taking some time off to give my wrists and brain a break! However, if I’m able to get the Mac build ready to go, I will post a devlog concerning that.
